Turning 40 felt strange
It wasn’t the number that bothered me. Aging didn’t scare me. Leading up to 40, I was led to believe that I would feel the most confident in my 40s. I was shocked and unnerved to discover that was not my experience at all. My “mid-life crisis” started at 39 and it shook to the core.
I am a mom with a master’s degree, turned stay-at-home mom, learning new ways to grow.
When I first envisioned this space, I thought I would write on all sorts of topics: beauty, lifestyle, travel, finances… But it turns out, what I feel like writing about the most is my decision to return to work (or not) and the confidence crisis that comes with trying to get back in the saddle after taking over a decade off. I’ll share some other random thoughts along the way, too.
This is a constantly evolving space, but if any of this resonates with you, come journey with me!
